My journey into massage therapy started, I’d say, when I was 15 and my mom was in a car accident. After her accident, my mom went to see a chiropractor who was also a neuromuscular massage therapist. I was astounded by her progress when she was receiving manual therapy. Pretty soon the Chiropractor let me sit in on my mother’s sessions and explained what she was doing and why. It was like a whole new world was open to me. That same chiropractor soon opened a massage school. After going to college, I decided to follow my original calling and study neuromuscular therapy at this very school. I never looked back. When you help someone who is in tremendous pain to walk out of your office virtually pain free, or help someone with extreme anxiety to to live a calmer and happier life; what better feeling is there? I’m incredibly lucky to be able to provide this service to people daily.
